Import your own WhatsApp TXT/ZIP, select visible content from your device, or read supported WhatsApp data from your own unencrypted local backup on Mac. TextTrace does not recover deleted messages, bypass encryption, or provide access to another person’s account.
Know when this is not enough

Does TextTrace make messages admissible?
No. It organizes and exports selected material. Admissibility, authentication, completeness, and lawful acquisition depend on facts, jurisdiction, and professional process.
Does TextTrace bypass encrypted iPhone backups?
No. The Mac importer reads only unencrypted Finder or iTunes backups. TextTrace does not bypass backup encryption.
Does a checksum make an export legally admissible?
No. A SHA-256 checksum can help you check whether a file changed. It does not establish authenticity, completeness, admissibility, or legal sufficiency.
