What happens to visual sources
TextTrace processes only the screenshots you choose. Necessary unique frames are transmitted through the TextTrace backend to Google Vision for visible-text recognition. Temporary server copies are deleted after processing, cancellation, failure, or device acknowledgement, with the documented deletion backstops.
Review is part of the workflow
OCR and speaker or timestamp interpretation can be wrong. Open important messages in context and compare them with the retained screenshots before you print, share, or rely on the PDF.

How many screenshots can I add?
The current TextTrace import flow accepts up to 40 screenshots in reading order.
Does TextTrace read my whole photo library?
No. It processes only the screenshots, photos, or recordings you select through the system picker.
